Clinical Psychologist
You can be highly competent, and still feel worn down. You can care deeply, and still feel detached from your work. You can look calm on the outside, and still be quietly struggling.
These are experiences I see frequently in my work with professionals, particularly those in healthcare and caring roles. Feelings of stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue often appear subtly and can build over time.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA-registered) and Researcher with over 20 years’ experience in mental health and wellbeing. My work focuses on supporting people navigating the emotional challenges of demanding careers, including stressors, career uncertainty, and life-stage transitions such as menopause or midlife change.
In my experience of providing individual therapy, organisational consultation, and developing digital mental health tools, one guiding question shapes my approach: How can people make choices that feel more sustainable and meaningful in the context of challenges we experience in our lives and, particularly, our work?
In therapy, I use evidence-informed strategies that may help you:
- Make space for what you’re feeling
- Gain clarity on what matters to you
- Explore habits and skills that can support wellbeing over time
I adopt a validating and collaborative approach that is grounded in Psychological Flexibility and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: a research-backed intervention model that encourages purposeful choice, values alignment, and adaptability in the context of life’s challenges.
If you’ve been struggling with the demands of your work or life transitions, therapy may be a space to reflect, consider your options, and identify what matters most to you.
I am not currently accepting new referrals under the Workers’ Compensation Scheme.
While my therapy approach is trauma-informed, I am not currently providing trauma therapy. Please book in to see one of our other clinical psychologists if you are seeking trauma therapy.
